Advances by the Yemeni legitimate forces south of Ma'rib and west of Taiz

Field sources in the Marib governorate confirmed that dozens of Houthi terrorist militia members were killed and injured, after they were lured by the Yemeni legitimate forces to court ambushes in the desert area between Al-Faliha and the Al-Bour Mountains, and the Laza area, on the southern front of Marib.

The sources pointed out that the legitimate forces, backed by the tribes and brigades of Happy Yemen, and the fighters of the coalition, took advantage of the rush of the militia element that brought reinforcements and armed groups to the southern front in order to break the siege on its elements and foreign experts in the eastern Jabal al-Balaq, and lured them to the open areas, which led to their complete extermination with the destruction of mechanisms. combat they used.

The forces, with the support of the coalition fighters, were able to cut off all Houthi supply routes on the southern front between Harib and Al-Juba and those between Al-Juba and Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi, and continued to bombard the militia sites in Aqabat Mallaa and the Umm Rish camp.

Meanwhile, local sources in the Abdiya district, south of Marib, confirmed that the Houthi militias have created sites and built alternative roads towards southern Marib, starting from Al-Badiyah and Al-Juba, after cutting all previous roads.

For its part, the coalition fighters carried out a series of focused and precise raids on militia sites, targets and mechanisms on the fronts of Marib and Al-Bayda and the outskirts of Ain District in Shabwa Governorate, which left Houthis dead and wounded, and destroyed several militia vehicles.

In Harib, the forces coming from Shabwa managed to liberate the valley linking the Mulqa Junction in the Ain West Shabwa district, and the center of the Harib district of the Ma'rib district, from the northern entrance to the district.

Field sources confirmed that the forces took control of Wadi Ayn from the side of the Shuqair region, and also completed the control of Aqabat Khatherda and the Minwi area, after the coalition fighters carried out more than 20 support raids targeting the locations and mechanisms of the Houthi militia stationed in those areas.

The sources pointed out that the forces came very close to the road linking Harib and the area of ​​Mala'a, after carrying out a detour operation from the southern area of ​​the Harib district, and now they are five kilometers away from imposing their control over the southern parts of the district center, after imposing full control over the Tabab overlooking those areas.

The forces participating in the liberation of Shabwa announced that they had taken control of mountainous heights of strategic importance, as they had overlooked large areas of the districts of Ain Shabwa, Harib and Al Abdiya in southern Marib.

Field sources stated that the vanguards of forces reached the heights located in the Bablaqa Junction and took control of them and installed weapons that would enable them to impose fire control over the center of Ain Shabwa district, large parts of Harib and Abdiya districts in southern Marib, as well as the roads linking those districts.

The forces were close to completing the liberation of the district of Ain, west of Shabwa, adjacent to the districts of Harib and Abdiya in southern Marib.

This comes in conjunction with the arrival of new reinforcements that have arrived at the fronts south of Marib to participate in the completion of the liberation, including battalions with qualitative training.

The recent battles in southern Marib led to the death of more than 46 Houthis, along with dozens of deaths, while dozens of its elements fled to separate areas, prompting the Houthi leaders belonging to Saada to set up points on all the roads linking Marib and Al-Bayda to monitor the escape operations of these elements and forcing them to return. To fight and refuse to be shot dead.

In Taiz, today, the army and the local resistance forces carried out a military operation against the militias in the areas between the districts of Jabal Habashi and Maqbna, west of the governorate, with the support of Arab coalition fighters.

Field sources said that violent confrontations are taking place between the two sides in the Al-Anin area in the Jabal Habashi district, overlooking large areas in the neighboring Maqbna district, coinciding with coalition raids that targeted Houthi sites in Maqbna.

Today, the forces of the Yemeni army and the resistance, with the support of the fighters of the coalition, liberated a number of the ruling mountains in the isolation of Yemen in the Muqbna district, and completed the liberation of the Hamamat Al-Taweer area in the Himyar region, south of the district, west of Taiz, in conjunction with the targeting of new militia sites in the Al-Ahtoub Mountains and the village of Makair in same directorate.

In Lahj, confrontations continued between the joint and southern forces on the one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other hand, on the fronts of the Hadd Yafa district, adjacent to the Al-Zahir district in Al-Bayda governorate, for the second day in a row, leaving the militias dead and wounded.

In Hajjah, the air defenses of the Fifth Military District managed to bring down an explosive march launched by the militias towards army positions in the Hayran district before reaching its target.

In Sanaa, coalition fighters targeted Houthi sites that include weapons depots in Jabal al-Nahdeen in the vicinity of the presidential house, and another in the Bani Matar district, west of the capital, which left huge explosions as a result of the destruction of weapons, including missiles and explosives, belonging to the militias.

The militias launched a raid campaign on the homes of former officers in Sanaa, and kidnapped 10 officers on charges of providing coordinates of the locations of Houthi weapons depots in the city, according to local sources, confirming that the kidnapped were taken to an unknown destination.

In Al-Jawf, a Yemeni human rights report revealed that the militias committed 36,000 violations against civilians in the governorate during 2021, with 100 violations per day, ranging from killing, kidnapping, injury, prevention of movement, destruction of homes, looting and confiscation of public and private lands and properties.

In Hodeidah, Houthi mines caused the death of two residents of the city of Hodeidah, the center of the governorate, while they were searching for domestic gas in the Kilo 10 area, according to confirmed local sources.
