An imposing meeting in support of the Transitional Military Council was held on Saturday January 22 in the largest stadium in the capital.

Thousands of Chadians responded to the call of the president of the National Movement for Change in Chad (MNCT) - party of the former opponent of the late head of state -, Mahamat Ahmat Lazina, rallied to the junta which appointed Minister of the Environment.

Objective of this meeting: to call on all Chadians to participate in the inclusive national dialogue announced for February 15.

Before that, a meeting is planned in Doha with the politico-military leaders, but it is slow to be organized.

Thousands of activists, riders and camel drivers answered the call of the president of the National Movement for Change in Chad.

On stage, artists play traditional music and comedians put on a show.

With the theme of living together.

Haroune Moussa Younous, a representative of young people, applauds: “

We must support the dialogue.

It will allow us to live together.

We are fed up with people who say that there are Chadians from the North and those from the South.

We are all Chadians.

»

Then, in an immaculate white boubou, Mahamat Ahmat Lazina climbs the podium to call on all Chadians, including leaders of rebel groups, to participate in the dialogue to, he says, "

bury the hatchet

".

Without ever pronouncing his name, the Minister of the Environment also sent a message to

Succès Masra,

leader of the Transformers.

I especially invite my younger brother, who hosted his meeting here a few weeks ago, not to stay on the sidelines of the inclusive national dialogue, but to take part in it.

Because he has good ideas and initiatives to contribute during this dialogue.

»

If this meeting is not "

a show of force

" according to the minister, many see it as a response to the Transformers, who had also filled the stadium two weeks ago.
