“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is developing a plan for the evacuation of relatives of employees of the German Embassy in Ukraine.
According to the plan, they should be taken out of the country in case of further deterioration of the situation,” Bild said in a statement.
Earlier, Fox News journalist Lucas Tomlinson said that the US State Department ordered the evacuation of the families of diplomats from Ukraine from January 24.
According to him, the information was confirmed by official sources.
Later, the State Department denied these data and added that if a decision is made to change the position regarding American diplomats and their families, then "American citizens should not assume that a government-sponsored evacuation will take place."
