After years of lawsuits, lawyers and detectives, the story of Paco Gento's extramarital paternity has almost come to an end.

After the death of the soccer player at the beginning of the week, LOC has agreed to a final ruling of the Justice that

recognizes Paquita España as the daughter of the soccer player

.

A fact that will have consequences on the distribution of the inheritance of the Real Madrid star.

The story of Paquita España has its origin in the capital at the end of the 1950s.

Gento, a star of the white team, had an eight-year relationship with the dancer Francisca España

.

Fruit of which Paquita was born, of which he never wanted to know anything.

"My grandfather [Paco Gento] never wanted to recognize my mother [Paquita] as a daughter nor was he interested in her. My grandparents had a relationship in which they slept together in hotels in Madrid and

he left her after being unfaithful to her when she was pregnant

. My grandmother had a very bad time for being an artist and a single mother. Even so, she kept thinking about him until she died, "summarizes LOC, David Murcia, Paco Gento's grandson and Paquita's son.

David was the one who started the process so that Gento was declared as his ancestor,

he explains that his motivation is not economic

.

"My mother grew up without the affection and recognition of her father. We have tried everything to avoid going to court. We wanted the surnames that correspond to her by birth," he says.

However, David and his mother's lawyer

"is already raising the issue of inheritance"

from Gento.

A distribution of his assets that continues to be a mystery and that, to a large extent, will depend on whether Gento left a will.

If there were a will,

Paquita would be entitled by law to at least a third of the legitimate

, a percentage of the deceased's assets that the law reserves for his forced heirs.

However, in the absence of a will, a higher percentage of his economic legacy would correspond to him, which he would have to share with his two children recognized in life (Francisco and Julio) and with his widow, Mari Luz Real, who would have the right to the widow's usufruct .

"Before money, I prefer recognition," David reiterates to LOC.

"

I would like the other two children to sit down and talk to my mother

, to accept that she is the first-born and that now we are all family," she adds.

"And as a family," he continues, "distribute the inheritance without lawsuits."

An unlikely scenario considering that only the judicial process has allowed Paquita and her son David to be recognized as descendants of Gento.

A story that goes back more than five years and has had

episodes worthy of Perry Mason

.

"Between lawyers and detectives

I have spent close to 40,000 euros

", explains David.

Some detectives who carried out surveillance and monitoring of Gento and his two recognized offspring to obtain DNA samples.

"

The detectives collected butts, coffee cups from bars and other objects from Gento and his children

to obtain DNA and the judge accepted the evidence. A team of detectives had to go because it was complicated and you had to be very careful. The samples to analyze they were sent to the Cytogen clinic," he summarizes.

The DNA tests were conclusive: more than 99% match.

Even so, Gento's strategy in the face of the paternity claim was characterized by exhausting the judicial channels through resources and then not appearing in the process.

"

Three times they called my grandfather to testify and three times he has not appeared

. He has laughed at the law," David ditches.

Now it will be the law that determines the distribution of Paco Gento's inheritance.
