“We call on Western countries to stop the aggressive anti-Russian information campaign, to stop contributing to the militarization of Ukraine, to drag it into NATO,” she said at a briefing.

Zakharova added that efforts should instead be directed towards encouraging Kiev to comply with the Minsk agreements and other international obligations.

Earlier, the director of the second department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Oleksiy Polishchuk, said that the NATO countries are turning Ukraine into a military foothold against Russia.
