“The court sentenced Kovalchuk to 18 years in prison, Abyanov to 17, Kalmykov to 16, Khudzhamov to 13 years,” the press service of the court told RIA Novosti.

The court added that all the defendants will have to serve their sentences in a strict regime colony.

In March 2018, Andrei Kovalchuk, suspected of organizing the supply of a large consignment of cocaine from Argentina to Moscow, was detained in Germany.
