Reopening of nightclubs on February 16

Nightclubs that had been closed since December 10 should reopen in a second phase: February 16.

Standing concerts will also be able to resume on this date, as will standing consumption which will also be possible again in bars.

It had been banned from January 3.

In addition, consumption will again be possible in stadiums, cinemas and transport.

The vaccination pass, succeeding the health pass for people at least 16 years old, will come into force from Monday "

 subject to the decision of the Constitutional Council

 " this Friday. This pass will be used to access leisure activities, restaurants and drinking establishments, fairs, seminars and trade shows and interregional public transport.

Jean Castex also declared that he was "considering" a reduction in the health protocol for schools upon returning from the February holidays, specifying that the current protocol will remain in force until then.
