“More than anything in the world, I am infuriated by the actions that allegedly took place around the world in honor of the fact that Alexei Navalny has been in prison for a whole year,” he said.

Lebedev added that Navalny is in prison because he violated Russian law and “did not check in where he should have checked in.”

“If someone violates such conditions of parole in any country in the world, then such a person, of course, is put in prison for real,” Lebedev said.

He also spoke about the fact that they plan to release a film about Navalny in the United States.

“It turned out that the whole ... (situation. - RT ) with his “poisoning” was filmed by a special team of filmmakers.

And there, CNN and HBO are now going to release a film…,” Lebedev said.

According to him, now it becomes clear that "it was all one big prepared performance."

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry called replies from Britain, Germany, France and Sweden to inquiries in the Navalny case.

The ministry also said that the EU countries are leading to a dead end in efforts to clarify the circumstances of the incident with Navalny.
