He did not go unnoticed.

A thick plume of smoke spread over the Atlantis area, in Saint-Herblain, this Thursday noon.

A fire broke out shortly before noon in a disused warehouse located rue de la Maison-Neuve, not far from the shopping center and the Nantes-Vannes 2x2 lane, reports the departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis) .

About fifty firefighters were mobilized on the spot to fight the flames.

The 5000 m2 building was fortunately empty.

But several families from the Roma community have been living in the immediate vicinity of the site for several months.

They had to be evacuated for their safety.

The authorities are on site to consider sheltering.
