Raging infection problematic for socially important activities: "Strained situation"

- If we look at how it affects society as a whole, our image is that all employers and organizations have a strained situation.

We also see it when it comes to socially important activities and socially important functions, says Svante Werger, advisor at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, MSB, to SVT.  

It is above all from workplaces with socially important functions, such as key people for businesses, that they have contacted MSB.  

- What they mainly ask for is whether it is possible to do something about the quarantine regulations where you have to stay at home if others in the household have tested positive for covid-19, says Svante Werger. 

For dialogue with FHM

The Swedish Public Health Agency is now reviewing the quarantine rules.  

- We have a dialogue with the Swedish Public Health Agency, where both we and other authorities and representatives of socially important activities have raised this need, says Svante Werger.
