In Germany, 112,323 cases of coronavirus were recorded per day

Over the past day in Germany, 239 people died from coronavirus, in total 116,081 patients with COVID-19 died in the country.

In total, more than 8.1 million cases of coronavirus have been detected in the country since the beginning of the pandemic. 

Earlier, German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach said that the omicron strain of coronavirus poses an increased danger to the German healthcare system.

Director of the Scientific Information Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Viral Infections Georgy Vikulov, in an interview with NSN, commented on the situation with the pandemic against the backdrop of the spread of the Omicron strain.
