Wednesday, the weather will often be gray and wet Wednesday, with some snowflakes or slippery phenomena from the center-west to the northeast.

Minimum temperatures will drop between 0 and 4 degrees from the Channel coasts to Poitou-Charentes and Aquitaine, between 0 and -4 from the interior of Occitanie and PACA to the northeast.

The weather will often be gray and wet on Wednesday, with some snowflakes or slippery phenomena from the center-west to the northeast, announces Météo-France.

On Wednesday, only the Alpine massif and the peaks of the Pyrenees will retain good sunshine.

On the Mediterranean border, maritime entries will spoil the start of the day.

Under the effect of a moderate north wind, clearings will reappear around the Gulf of Lion in the afternoon, but the sky will remain cloudy to very cloudy over southern Provence and Corsica.

Mists sometimes freezing in the plain of Alsace

On the rest of the country, the day will start with gray and very humid weather with some drizzle. These small precipitations will sometimes mix with flakes or will very locally make the soil slippery from Limousin, from western Auvergne and Berry to Burgundy, Champagne-Ardenne and Lorraine. We will also be wary of the sometimes freezing fog in the plain of Alsace and from the Val de Saône to Lyonnais. In the afternoon, a not very active disturbance will gain by the English Channel, more regular light rains will invade the regions located north of the Loire to Hauts-de-France. Elsewhere, the sky will remain heavy with a few drops or drizzle, a few more flakes over eastern Limousin, the Massif Central, on the first heights of the north-eastern quarter then up to the Pre-Alps,the Montagne Noire and the Cévennes.

Up to 14 degrees locally

Minimum temperatures will drop between 0 and 4 degrees from the Channel coasts to Poitou-Charentes and Aquitaine, between 0 and -4 from the interior of Occitanie and PACA to the northeast.

The maximum will reach 7 to 11 degrees near the Channel, on the Atlantic coast, south of the Garonne and in the Mediterranean regions, locally 12 to 14 on the Côte d'Azur and Corsica.

It will not be more than 2 to 6 degrees on the rest of France. 

During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, a little more regular snowfall will occur in the north of the Massif Central and as far as the plain from Burgundy Franche-Comté to Lorraine and Alsace.

The quantities will be low but will whiten the soil with locally 1 to 3 cm.
