An exceptional journey for visitors to the Kingdom of Bahrain's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, which showcases the concept of density and its role as a catalyst for creating promising opportunities, emulating the features of the natural and urban structure of this ancient Gulf country.

Through a tangible and spatial experience, the pavilion explores the density and future possibilities of the building with an innovative contemporary design by the architect Christian Kerez. The principles of communication and intensity that triumph over the Kingdom’s pavilion at the exhibition, and their value in exploring the three-dimensional possibilities of design, are inspired by the geometric stucco decorations of traditional Bahraini architecture.

As for the pavilion’s exhibition program, a special training program in the field of crafts was launched, with the aim of preparing a young generation and training them in a variety of Bahraini handicrafts, which in turn embody a unique aspect of Bahrain’s heritage, thanks to its use of colors, shapes and embroidery techniques. Which highlights rich experiences in the field of design, and reflects stories and inspiring stories of the local community, its cultures, and its rich human details.
