This is a compromise figure who is ready to support the strategic directions that the European Union has announced, and who has experience in this direction,” the analyst said.

She added that the European Parliament itself plays a significant role in the structure of EU institutions in terms of development with civil society.

“When we say that parties from different countries are forming common factions in the EP, this is an important direction, which indicates the strengthening of the integration movement.

The EP also accepts the budget, considers all strategic lines of development, it has the right to send it for revision.

But at the same time, this is an instance that should closely correlate its actions with both the council and the commission, ”the political scientist said.

The expert also noted that representatives of different parties actively use the EP platform to express their opinion.
