France on Monday described as "unacceptable" the violence against journalists during demonstrations against Tunisian President Kais Saied last Friday.

"This is not acceptable," the French foreign ministry spokeswoman said in a statement.

Paris on Monday described as unacceptable the violence against journalists during demonstrations against Tunisian President Kais Saied on Friday.

“Several journalists, in particular correspondents of the French and international press, were victims of violence while covering the demonstrations which took place in Tunis on January 14, 2022. This is not acceptable”, declared the door- word of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.
