Also, over the past 24 hours, 19,756 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the country, and 9,878,371 patients have recovered since the start of the pandemic.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that the new strain of coronavirus "omicron" could displace the "delta" variant of the infection that dominates in Russia.
