Asymptomatic do not need to be tested
Due to high pressure on sampling and infection tracking for covid-19, the region has decided that asymptomatic individuals do not need to be tested.
This means that if you have met someone who has covid-19 or lives with someone who has covid, the person only needs to test if they get symptoms.
The exception is asymptomatic people who work in health or care.
They will continue to be tested after close contact with a confirmed covid-infected person, according to the region.
