EU intends to intensify cooperation with the Gulf countries

As noted, during the meeting, the parties "examined ways to intensify cooperation between the EU and the countries of the Persian Gulf."

In addition, it is emphasized that the EU and the GCC are interested in solving global problems such as the green and digital transition, climate change and the fight against terrorism.

Earlier, Foreign Ministers of Russia and the UAE Sergey Lavrov and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke about the relations between the two countries.
