Valérie Pécresse was the exceptional guest of Europe 1 this Monday morning.

At the microphone of Sonia Mabrouk, candidate LR returned to the flagship measures of her program, such as the 10% increase in net salaries to "give dignity" to working French people, and the tax exemption for overtime. 

INTERVIEW

Valérie Pécresse returned to the key economic measures of her program this morning on Europe 1. At the microphone of Sonia Mabrouk, the LR candidate reiterated her desire to increase net salaries by 10% to "give back dignity" to the French who working.

The president of the Ile-de-France region also advocates the tax exemption of overtime, and the implementation of "powerful reforms" such as the pension reform.  

Raising wages, an "absolute priority"

Valérie Pécresse intends to revalue the purchasing power by lowering the contributions which weigh on the wages, thus reducing the margin between the gross salary and the net salary.

"We want net salaries to be higher. This is an absolute priority," insisted candidate LR at the microphone of Sonia Mabrouk.

"We will increase them by 10%," she promises.

For Valérie Pécresse, "work must pay more than assistance".

It is for this reason that she wants to increase wages by 10%, across the entire wage chain, and not just for the minimum wage.

"With this measure, we will make the French want to return, we will give them back their dignity", assures the candidate LR who also intends to "detax all overtime". 

Pension and unemployment insurance reforms

Valérie Pécresse, who presents herself as a "lady to do", insists on the need to reform the country. "I will do the pension reform that Emmanuel Macron did not do," she promises. "This will make it possible to revalue small pensions". Candidate LR also wants to go to the end of the unemployment insurance reform. "When you refuse a job offer three times, you are gradually removed from your allowances. If you earn more than 2,000 euros and are under 50, after six months, there is a degression to encourage you to return at work". 

Valérie Pécresse also plans to cut 200,000 civil servant positions.

On the other hand, it will recruit 50,000 people whose mission is to "protect, care for and educate".

"Even my opponents on the far right recognize that the best person to handle this problem would certainly be me."
