Antonov: Russia will decide on further work with the United States when it receives answers to its proposals

The Russian Embassy in the United States posted the text of Antonov's statement on his Facebook page.

“It must be admitted that the discussions held last week with the United States and NATO have not yet yielded a significant result.

We expect written responses from Washington and Brussels to our draft agreements.

Based on them, we will make a decision on the advisability of further joint work,” he said.

Antonov noted that Russia is ready to discuss counter proposals.

Earlier, US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said that Russia and the United States during the negotiations "listened to each other", but have not yet begun those discussions "that need to be started to reach agreements."
