Earlier, US Permanent Representative to the World Organization Linda Thomas-Greenfield said that the US proposed introducing new restrictive measures through the UN against the DPRK for conducting a series of ballistic missile launches.

According to the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of South Korea, on January 11 at 07:27 local time (01:27 Moscow time), a supposedly ballistic missile was launched from the interior of the DPRK in the direction of the Sea of ​​Japan. 

The National Security Council (NSC) under the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in condemned the new missile launch carried out by the DPRK.
