The video portal Youtube removed a video of the #allesaufdentisch campaign and blocked its channel for a week.

A spokesman for Youtube told the FAZ on request that they had clear guidelines as to what was allowed on the platform and what was not.

A video on the channel was blocked because it violated “medical misinformation guidelines”.

These state, among other things, that no content on Covid-19 is permitted on YouTube that "poses a serious risk of physical harm".

On Wednesday, the "Spiegel" first reported about the closure of the canal. Accordingly, the video, which was deleted on Tuesday, claimed that the corona vaccination had led to 13,000 deaths and that Covid-19 was just a mild cold. In the YouTube guidelines meanwhile, it is said that no content is allowed "that spreads medical misinformation about Covid-19 that contradicts the medical information of the World Health Organization (WHO) or local health authorities". According to epd, the lawyer for the initiators of #allesaufdentisch, Joachim Nikolaus Steinhöfel, has not yet dealt with the matter.

In the past, Youtube had already deleted several videos of the campaign. On October 11, 2021, the initiative received an injunction against the deletion of two posts before the Cologne Regional Court. According to media reports, YouTube filed an objection to the injunction.

The #allesaufdentisch campaign describes itself as an “initiative for a social dialogue”.

It was initiated, among others, by the actor Volker Bruch (“Babylon Berlin”).

According to the organizers, the aim is "to view the pandemic as a problem for society as a whole, and also to make those experts heard who, despite their often high reputation, have barely or not at all been noticed in the public debate so far".

Many of the participating artists were already involved in the controversial #allesdichtmachen campaign.
