It was after a night out that the woman early in the morning on December 23 sent a message from her mobile phone to a relative.

It was the last trace of her in almost 12 days and the police began a preliminary investigation into kidnapping.

The mobile phone remained in the woman's home.

But on the afternoon of January 4, the woman was found dead at the track area just north of Landskrona station after being discovered by police drones.

A technical investigation was carried out at the site, which meant that train traffic had to be temporarily stopped between Landskrona and Helsingborg.

The message: No crime

The body was sent for autopsy and now the forensic doctor has given notice.

- On Monday 10 January, we received a response from the Forensic Medicine Department, and also in light of the technical investigation of the site, we can state that no crime is behind the death, says Crime Commissioner Kent Persson at the Department of Serious Crime in Helsingborg in a press release.

Due to the announcement, the police close the preliminary investigation.

Relatives have been notified.
