The Jordanian Foreign Ministry said, according to the official news agency (Petra), that it "denies the reports circulated by a number of news websites regarding the interruption of communication with one of the diplomats of the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Republic of Kazakhstan."

The ministry's spokesman, Haitham Abu al-Ful, explained that a "crisis cell" was activated in the ministry following the events and developments taking place in Kazakhstan. Various contact.

He pointed out that this coincided with the interruption of international telephone communications due to the current conditions that Kazakhstan is going through.

The spokesman expressed his "astonishment at the dissemination of misleading information," and called on the media to "check the accuracy and ensure the credibility of information and news before publishing it."

Media reports had talked about the interruption of communication with the Chargé d'Affairs at the Jordanian Embassy in Kazakhstan, Uday Mazen Al-Hadid.

Later, the Jordanian ambassador to Kazakhstan, Youssef Abdul-Ghani, confirmed that he had contacted Uday Al-Hadid, saying that "the consul is fine," according to what the Jordanian newspaper Al-Dustour reported on its website.
