The alarm was received by the police shortly after half past eight on Saturday night.
Passers-by saw the injured man next to a garage.
The injury situation is unclear but the man was taken by ambulance to hospital.
- As far as I know, we have not been able to talk to the man, but the testimonies we have received are from others at the scene, says Patric Fors, the police's spokesperson.
There are currently no arrests.
- No one was arrested or suspected, but we are searching the area right now, says Patric Fors.
The incident is the latest in a series of suspected violent crimes in recent days - after a noticeably quiet period in the city before that.
