Development dynamics

After consolidating its efforts in the control and prevention of Covid-19, China will focus on growth, said the Civil Aviation Administration on the occasion of the publication of a new development plan on the sector.

A less polluting fleet

With a view to increasing passenger and freight traffic, China also wants to increase the number of civilian airports by 2025, from the current 241 to more than 270.

In addition, the Middle Kingdom aims to reduce its CO2 emissions per tonne-kilometer over the next three years.

Having a cleaner fleet will help China achieve its carbon neutral goal by 2060.
