"Would you like to go on a date with my daughter?"

In Times Square, New York's largest shopping street, an advertisement looking for a man to date with his daughter is a topic of discussion.

According to foreign media such as NBC, USA on the 4th local time, a woman living in Boston, Massachusetts posted an advertisement asking for a date with her daughter on a large outdoor billboard in Times Square in New York.

The main characters of the story are 61-year-old mother Beth Davis and 30-year-old daughter Molly Davis.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, the cancer relapsed in June 2020 and is now metastasized to the bones. I thought of an advertisement like this.

The billboard, which is about 7m wide and 14m long, has the words 'Would you like to go on a date with my daughter?' and 'I am Molly's cheating friend and mother'. It also includes a picture of Molly smiling broadly and a link to her dating profile.

If you access the link in the advertisement, you will be directed to a page introducing Molly on the dating agency 'Wingman' site.

The article introducing Molly on the site was also written by her mother, Beth. Beth boasted, "Molly is like a ray of sunlight. I try to brighten up the daily life of the people around me," and boasted, "I try to laugh often and only see the good side of people."

"Molly has lived all over the world and has the best skills in selling medical devices. I want to entrust my daughter to someone I can trust."

Ms. Beth and Molly visited New York last weekend to take a certified photo in front of a billboard.

"As soon as I got out of the taxi, I saw Molly's face on the billboard," he told The New York Post.

Molly said, "I am grateful to my mother for working hard to find a good mate.

This is a 'news pick'.
