The weather will be lightly rainy on Friday with snow as far as the plains in the North-East, according to Météo France forecasts. Overnight, a disturbance will reach Poitou-Charentes, Pays-de-la-Loire, as far as Normandy, Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France. Light snowfall at low altitude can be expected over the northern heights.

The weather will be lightly rainy on Friday with snow as far as the plains in the North-East, according to Météo France forecasts.

Overnight, a disturbance will reach Poitou-Charentes, Pays-de-la-Loire, as far as Normandy, Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France.

The precipitation will arrive on cold air, so we can expect light snowfall at low altitude, which can whiten the soils on the heights of Hauts-de-France.

In the second part of the night, precipitation will arrive on the Grand-Est which can give 1 to 2 cm on the roadways.

Snow at low altitude in the center

In the morning, we will find low rainfall from Lorraine-Alsace to Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes to the Pyrenees.

It will snow temporarily to low altitude, mainly in Limousin, the Tarn and Aveyron heights, the Center-East to the eastern borders.

We could therefore find, in these places, pavements whitewashed by snow.

Behind these regions, a lagging time will set in.

A few showers will start, they will be frequent in Aquitaine.

Near La Manche, in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais and the Ardennes, they may be in the form of sleet, snow-rain, mixed or sleet, with thunderclaps.

Near the Mediterranean and in PACA, the sun will dominate.

Moderate rains north of the Seine

In the afternoon, a new disturbance will affect the North-West, up to the gates of Lorraine, giving weak and lasting rains, except to the north of the Seine, where it will be a little more moderate, with the presence of snow. or rain and snow mixed on the heights of Hauts-de-France, but also Avesnois and near the borders of the Benelux. Elsewhere, with the exception of the Mediterranean rim, the weather will still remain under the threat of showers, in the form of snow around 900 m in the Pyrenees, 400/600 m in the Massif Central, down to low altitude in Lorraine and Alsace and alpine valleys.

On the wind side, the mistral and the tramontane will be around 70/80 km / h in gusts.

The westerly wind will also blow with peaks of up to 80/100 km / h near the English Channel and 60/80 in the interior, especially in the Somme and Nord-Pas-de-Calais, under heavy downpours. .

On the temperature side, frosts between 0 and -4 degrees will remain frequent from the northeast to the southeast of France, as well as in New Aquitaine and Occitanie.

In the rest of the country, it will often be between 0 and 6 degrees, up to 7/8 near the coast of Corsica.

In the afternoon, the thermometer will climb between 3 to 6 degrees in the East, often 6 to 11 degrees elsewhere, 13/14 degrees on the Côte d'Azur and in Corsica.
