An 8-year-old child succumbed to her injuries after a bouncy castle accident in eastern Spain, local authorities said on Wednesday.
Eight other children were injured, including one seriously, after falling from this castle, installed for a local festival in Mislata, near Valencia, and which had been propelled into the air by gusts of wind.
"There are no words, it's a real tragedy," said the mayor of this town, Carlos Bielsa, on Twitter where he published a statement announcing the death of the little girl.
The town has decreed three days of mourning.

An open investigation
She also canceled all the celebrations still planned for the holidays including the Three Kings parade.
It was to take place on Wednesday evening, on the eve of Epiphany, as in most Spanish cities.
Police have opened an investigation to determine if this bouncy castle meets safety standards.
The accident comes after six children died in a similar drama in Australia.
A large bouncy castle was blown by the wind at an elementary school end-of-year party in the Tasmanian town of Devenport, a drama that stirred deep emotion across the country.
