“Dear compatriots, I again appeal to you to show prudence and not succumb to the inside and outside: the euphoria of rallies and permissiveness,” RIA Novosti Tokayev quotes.

He stressed that calls to attack civilian and military departments are absolutely illegal.

According to him, "this is a crime that can be punished."

The President noted that "the power will not fall, but what is needed is not a conflict, but mutual trust and dialogue."

Earlier, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin instructed to create a government commission to resolve the situation in the Mangistau region of the republic, where there are protests over the rise in prices for liquefied gas.

Later Tokayev called on the participants of the rally to dialogue.
