“I convened the NATO-Russia Council on January 12 to discuss issues related to European security, especially the situation in and around Ukraine,” Stoltenberg wrote on Twitter.

In addition, it is specified that the parties will discuss issues related to military activity, mutual transparency of actions of the military of Russia and NATO and reducing risks.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Alexander Grushko will represent the Russian diplomatic service at the upcoming meeting of the Russia-NATO Council on January 12 in Brussels.
