Last straight before the kickoff of the African Cup of Nations, this Sunday, January 9.

In Senegal, the Teranga Lions team was received Tuesday afternoon at the presidential palace, for the traditional flag handover ceremony by the Head of State, before flying to Cameroon.

All dressed in white, the Lions are "

ready

" according to their captain, Kalidou Koulibaly who received the national flag.

We are honored to receive the banner of our nation to hoist it as high as possible to the top of African football.

We are going to Cameroon with a lot of ambition and desire, we are going there with the win so that our country knows the intoxication of a great evening of victory in football and in a great competition.

 "

In front of the Head of State, former players of the national team like El Hadji Diouf or Cheikh Seck, and members of the Senegalese Football Federation.

Today, we are at a crucial stage in what we all call this permanent quest for Senegalese football, this quest for a trophy
