On the fact of an accident with children in the Luga district of the Leningrad region, an inspection is being carried out

"During the inspection, an assessment will be made of the circumstances of the incident, the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of children," the statement says.

The accident occurred on Monday, January 3, at 16:15 in the Luga region.

The driver of Lada Kalina, moving towards St. Petersburg, lost control, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

Passengers of the domestic car: an 11-year-old boy and a 49-year-old man, as well as a two-year-old Mitsubishi passenger were injured.

Earlier it became known that the excursion bus got into a fatal accident on the highway in the Lodeynopolsky district of the Leningrad region on Tuesday, January 4.

The bus collided with two passenger cars, FAN reports.

As a result of the accident, one person died, six were injured, three of whom were children.

At the moment, they are all in the Lodeynoye Pole hospital.
