“A criminal case has been initiated into the sale of goods and products, as well as the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements and resulted in the death of three people (part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia),” the message says.
According to the investigation, on January 2, in one of the apartments of Balashikha, the body of a man was found without visible signs of violent death, and his acquaintance was hospitalized from the same apartment in an unconscious state.
During the inspection of the place, the investigators seized a canister with alcohol-containing products.
In addition, two more people were hospitalized from another apartment and subsequently died.
As a result of the inspection of their apartment, cans with alcohol-containing products were also seized.
Currently, all the circumstances of the incident are being established, interrogations and examinations are being carried out, the place of purchase and the supplier of alcoholic beverages are being clarified.
