US President Joe Biden and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a telephone conversation, discussed the readiness of the United States to "decisively respond" in the event of an aggravation of the situation on the Ukrainian border. “Biden made it clear that the US and its allies ... will respond decisively if Russia continues to invade Ukraine,” it said.
