A Vietnamese acrobat brother set a new world record in the 'Stair Climbing Stairs with a Person Over Head and Balanced'.

With this challenge, the brothers surpassed their own records recorded once in 2016 and those of Peruvian acrobats in 2018.

Local time, on the 26th of last month, Vietnam VTV reported that the brothers Zhang Quoc Ko and Zhang Quoc Ngyeep had set a new world record in the category of 'Climbing a person on top of your head and balancing in a row'.

On the 23rd of last month, brothers Jean Quoc went up the stairs in front of Girona Cathedral, Spain, holding their heads upright and balancing them like decalcomani.

Relying on each other's sense of balance, the brothers strode up the sloping stairs, climbing 100 steps in 53 seconds, setting a new world record.

Earlier, in 2016, Brother Zhang Quoc set a new world record by climbing 90 steps in 52 seconds from this position.

No one could match Brother Zhang Quoc in that category, but in 2018, Peruvian acrobats climbed 97 steps, breaking the brother's record.

Brother Zhang Quoc did not stop here, but diligently honed his skills, setting a new record in 2018 by successfully descending 10 steps in 53.97 seconds and then climbing backwards while blindfolded.

The brothers resumed training to bring the world record title lost to Peruvian acrobats.

During training, the brothers were sometimes terrified of 'I can't do this anymore', but they did not stop trying, and eventually set a world record.

In an interview with VTV, Brother Zhang Quoc said, "Since there are only 90 stairs in Girona Cathedral, 10 temporary stairs were added at the time of the challenge, but there was no opportunity to practice on those stairs, so I was worried. I tried to keep it. It was a dream-like moment.”

Brothers Zhang Quoc, who learned Shaolin martial arts from their grandfathers and fathers, emerged as a teenager and played the lead role in the Ho Chi Minh City Circus.

The brothers, who have spent their whole lives with acrobatics, expressed their ambition, "I want to prove in front of the world that human possibilities are infinite in the future."

This is a 'news pick'.
