If the Covid-19 pandemic is still disrupting the daily life of the French, New Year's Eve must be exceptional!

What are the French going to do?

Europe 1 has held the microphone in the streets of Paris, and its inhabitants have given some answers.

And you, what have you planned for New Year's Eve?

For the second year in a row, the New Year is shaken up by the Covid-19 crisis.

"For us, this evening, it will be a family program and we will go to the cinema", assumes a mother.

"We're going to go see

Spiderman: No Way Home

with the kids, quite simply. We're taking advantage of the rooms that are a little empty for December 31."

For some, this New Year's Eve will be an evening like any other: "Tonight, it will be simple: we will go home, eat quickly and surely go to bed early."

Tests before the evening

For still others, the planned plans, sometimes for weeks, fell through in the space of an antigen test. "The person who organized the evening is positive, therefore, we will try to find something", assures a young Parisian, however confident: "In any case, we will have a plan B." Beyond disrupting the planned evenings, the Covid-19 has also revived some fears. "We all started to stress about it," says a young man. "We have been tested: we know that we are negative."

And then there are those who assume: "I suspect that we will not all keep our masks, that we will surely sometimes drink from the same glasses", explains a woman.

"We do not make films either, it is possible that we catch" the coronavirus.

But according to her, her friends have already "made an effort because normally, there are a lot more than eight for the New Year."

Finally, some have decided to start the year with a very French taste pleasure: "It's going to be a good raclette!"
