On December 29, it was reported that an American E-8C JSTARS reconnaissance aircraft flew over eastern Ukraine for the first time.
It is noted that the flight was carried out with the permission of the Ukrainian authorities and the plane did not cross the borders of the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
