The parties touched upon the topic of the situation near the border of Ukraine.

They also discussed the topic of solidarity with Lithuania "in the light of China's actions", Iran and the JCPOA.

Earlier, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said in an interview with Welt that Russia's demands to end the eastward expansion of the EU and NATO are "unacceptable."
