In a creative way that highlights part of the identity of the region, the pavilion of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf at Expo 2020 Dubai paints a painting, through a dynamic sandy platform powered by magnetic energy, to highlight the names of the countries of the Cooperation Council wonderfully without stopping, and at one time in circles symbolizing To: The Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait, with a circle entitled “Our Gulf is One” in the middle.

The pavilion highlights the peculiarity of the Arab Gulf society that distinguishes it from other societies, whether Arab or others, and perhaps the most prominent of which is the strength of the relationship between the people of the same region, and the serious desire to preserve the original heritage, and work hard to strengthen, develop and strengthen that relationship, and that heritage in various aspects of life And planning realistically for the future, in a way that benefits everyone, and this is summarized by the pavilion, which has become in form and content a full council, containing all the people of the Arab Gulf, presence or contents that abound in the walls of the pavilion, which was decorated with the title “A unified vision for a promising future.”

The pavilion also sheds light on the achievements and unity of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, by providing an experience that demonstrates the links between the member states of the Council, including their common history, religion and culture.

While the fine sandy platform displays a group of artistic decorations represented in the names of the GCC countries in Arabic, which are distributed in a circular motion around the main circle in the middle of the platform, on which the phrase “Our Gulf is One” is engraved in Arabic.

The sand platform works in a non-stop creative manner using magnetic balls that move in a dazzling dynamic way, to draw in each circle the name of a Gulf country from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The creative board conveys the message that everyone works for one goal without affecting the work of the other.

The pavilion also focuses on many aspects that demonstrate what the message of this technical work offers, the most important of which is shedding light on the development of technical capabilities in the GCC system, through the GCC e-government network, as this project aims to link e-government programs, as well as provide Services such as the electronic clearing system for customs duties, retirement and pension services in the GCC countries, and the establishment and management of commercial activities.

The pavilion highlights the role of artificial intelligence in the importance of achieving cooperation, interdependence and integration among the GCC countries in all fields, by developing technical capabilities in government agencies, and enhancing cooperation between various institutions and the Digital Cooperation Organization, as the focus is on digital transformation in the GCC countries by encouraging initiatives related to the digital economy, and assigning the General Secretariat to follow up and develop plans and programs, to implement this by launching an integrated vision for the digital transformation of the General Secretariat, and implementing a strategy and action plan that translates the vision’s objectives and activates performance indicators.

The pavilion sheds light through this technical work on the Gulf payments, which is the company that was established in 2016 based on the system of linking payments to the GCC countries, as it aims to establish and develop an integrated and flexible infrastructure for payments, build a system that links payments and settlement systems, and implement and operate the payments system in an environment Stable, cooperating with international organizations, institutions and bodies in this field.

The importance of investment opportunities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is not absent from the Council’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, as the pavilion sheds light on the manufacturing industry, such as assembling simple and smart sensors and fiber-optic cables in the UAE, the manufacture of single-cell proteins, and the manufacture of surgical sutures in Bahrain. While in Saudi Arabia, ultrafiltration membranes and melamine-coated sheets are manufactured, in the Sultanate of Oman it manufactures hard gelatin capsules, in Qatar it manufactures water-resistant bentonite linings and polyethylene terephthalate, while Kuwait manufactures welding rods and white oils as part of investment opportunities in the manufacturing industry of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
