Man arrested after gun threat in Malmö

The police received a call from a man who had been threatened with, what was perceived as, a gun on Norra Grängesbergsgatan in Malmö.

The perpetrator, who is in his 30s, left the scene by car.

- We get the case in by a man stating that he has been threatened with a pistol-like object.

A patrol is sent to the scene that begins the search for the man, says Filip Annas, the police's spokesperson in the south.

The police can not confirm that it was a real weapon.

- It is something that is perceived as a weapon, says Filip Annas.

According to the police, the two men must know each other in some way.

The police were later able to arrest the man in his 30s.

He is suspected of a felony and unlawful threats.
