The municipality of Khorfakkan recorded 79 violations and warnings for barbershops that did not comply with the health requirements followed and in force, as part of intensive inspection campaigns carried out by the Public Health Department monitors during the past five months in order to verify that all standards of service quality and health preservation were met.
The municipality confirmed that public health inspectors monitor the commitment of workers to wear the uniform, the efficiency of the work of sterilizers, the validity of cosmetics and cosmetics used in the salon, in addition to checking the cleanliness of the shop, and the disposal of garbage and hair on a regular basis.
She explained that the observers carried out a number of inspection tours of 241 barbershops, and issued four violations, mostly due to negligence in the application of health requirements, and issued 13 warnings and 62 alerts.
She pointed out that most of the violations came due to the failure to apply the conditions for sterilization of shaving tools, as well as the use of towels in an unhygienic manner.
