Zeman said about the deterioration of the situation in the world after the surrender of NATO in Afghanistan

"The international situation in terms of security worsened after NATO's surrender in Afghanistan, as a result of which the Taliban * terrorist movement came to power in this country," Zeman quoted TASS as saying.

He noted that this will lead to an increase in migration flows from Afghanistan, as well as to an increased risk, including in Europe, of new terrorist attacks.

Earlier, the European Parliament called the events in Afghanistan a collective failure of the West.

* The organization is under UN sanctions for terrorist activities.
