Zakharova spoke about the EU's claim to the WTO against import substitution of Russia

She noted that the EU has filed a lawsuit in the amount of € 290 billion.

“Now we know how much the European Union has estimated the stupidity and lack of independence of its own political elites,” Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.

According to her, the “stupidity” is that import substitution was Russia's response to EU sanctions.

She added that the "lack of independence" manifested itself in the decision to impose sanctions under pressure from Washington.

Earlier, as reported by the Izvestia newspaper, the European Union demanded € 290 billion from Russia through an appeal to the World Trade Organization.
