December 25, 2021 "This week at the national level the first critical threshold for occupancy of beds in intensive care has been exceeded".
This is what is written in the report of the Control Room of 24 December cited in the ordinance of the Ministry of Health, published yesterday in the Official Gazette, which provides for "further urgent measures regarding the containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from Covid-19 in the Regions Calabria and Friuli-Venezia Giulia ".
In the report, both states also that "transmissibility on hospitalized cases remains above the epidemic threshold with a consequent increase in the occupancy rates of beds both in the medical area and in intensive care".
