"I will ask for new volumes of gas," RIA Novosti quoted Vucic as saying.
He added that he intends to have a telephone conversation with Putin on December 26.
Earlier, Vucic said that Russia extended the gas price to the Serbian side at $ 270 per 1,000 cubic meters for the next six months.
The Serbian Foreign Ministry called the agreement on gas supplies concluded by Putin and Vucic historic.
According to Vucic, Serbia was able to save about € 1 billion thanks to the favorable gas price set by Russia.
