“During the conflict, the driver of a foreign car damaged the rear-view mirror of the ambulance and fired several shots into the air from an object that looked like a pistol, after which he fled the scene,” RIA Novosti reported from the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The incident was reported to the police on December 24.
To arrest the offender, an interception plan was announced, the gunman's car was blocked in the city of Kolpino.
“A traumatic pistol was confiscated from a 46-year-old Audi driver.
The offender was taken to the police for further investigation, ”the Interior Ministry said.
Earlier in Moscow, police detained three people who beat a man in an underground passage.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Art.
213 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Hooliganism").
