4.57 million people applied for the exam!

The number of postgraduate applicants hit a record high

  According to previously announced news, the national postgraduate admissions examination time in 2022 will be from December 25 to 26, 2021 (8:30-11:30 in the morning and 14:00-17:00 in the afternoon).

Exam subjects with more than 3 hours will be conducted on December 27 (starting time 8:30, deadline determined by the admissions unit, no more than 14:30).

  Statistics from the Ministry of Education show that the number of applicants for this exam is as high as 4.57 million, which is a sharp increase of 800,000 compared with the 3.77 million in the previous year, a record high.

  Judging from the data in recent years, more and more people have joined the postgraduate entrance examination, and the number of applicants has repeatedly reached new highs.

In 2017, the number of postgraduate applicants broke the 2 million mark for the first time, reaching 2.01 million; in 2020, the number of postgraduate candidates exceeded the 3 million mark for the first time, reaching 3.4 million; by 2022, this number will exceed 4 million for the first time.

  Looking at the postgraduate entrance examination data in these years, from 2.01 million in 2017 to 4.57 million in 2022, the number of postgraduate applicants increased by 2.56 million in five years.

  According to the National Postgraduate Admissions Survey Report in 2022 released by China Education Online, since 2016, the number of postgraduate candidates in my country has maintained a high growth trend. From 2015 to 2022, the 7-year average growth rate is 15.8%.

The situation of the epidemic is complicated
