“The United States welcomes the announcement made on the eve of the OSCE about its firm resolve ... to fully adhere to measures to strengthen the ceasefire agreement of 22 July 2020,” the statement said.
US diplomats expressed hope that the ceasefire would create "the diplomatic space needed to de-escalate tensions in the region."
Earlier, the head of the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Yermak, said that during the meeting of the contact group, all parties announced their intention to comply with the ceasefire agreements.
In turn, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Moscow expects Kiev to fulfill all its obligations to ensure an armistice in Donbass.
