Positive closing for the European stock exchanges. Natural gas price drops by more than 23%

European stock exchanges closed positively before the Christmas break. Milan at + 0.7%, London and Paris also do well, the best is Frankfurt which exceeds the percentage point of increase. Overall, a few sessions from the end of the year, 2021 was clearly positive for the Ftse Mib index, which from 1 January to today has gained over 22% and exceeds 27,000 points. Positive day also for the American lists: the Dow Jones index rises by 0.57%, the Nasdaq by more than 8 tenths of a point. On the commodity markets, the price of oil rises, with Brent at 76.2 dollars a barrel. While natural gas holds back: worries about supplies to Europe after the cut in arrivals from Russia ease thanks to the arrival of some liquefied gas ships, and as a result the price drops sharply,by almost 26% to 128 euros per megawatt hour.
